Coolart Wetlands
ART IN THE WETLANDS
Rosa was privileged to present work within the heritage buildings and discreet bird hides embedded in and around the Ramsar-listed wetlands at Coolart. The culminating exhibition invited community and public audiences to encounter art in unexpected and often overlooked spaces, reframing familiar sites through an artistic lens.
This period of practice became the foundation for Currents of Practice - an evolving platform that interlaces art, ecology, and community engagement. Rooted in wetlands of international significance, it underscores the urgency of environmental awareness and affirms a place for Currents of Practice within the global conversation of World Wetlands Day, where cultural expression amplifies the call to protect these vital ecosystems.
